I'm not sure exactly what I should say in this initial email so I will give a brief overview of my situation.

I have 2 boys, 7 and 5 and we reside in Baltimore, Maryland. I have had full physical and legal custody of them since October 2011. Their father resides in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania. He had visitation every other weekend from October 2011 until the end of April 2013. At that time, 2 allagations of child abuse were files against their father for child abuse. Since then we have been back and further in court. The Domestic Violence case is being heard in Maryland and the Criminal case was held in Pennsylvania.

I would really like the opportunity to speak with someone to discuss my case further. I appreciate you taking the time to read my email. And I want to thank you in advance for any help or guidance you may be able to provide for me and my boys!!!!Sally Lou3https://www.blogger.com/profile/00347738398535381341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5875073687069304746.post-25404104052347816182015-03-18T04:19:18.024-04:002015-03-18T04:19:18.024-04:00The worst feeling a mom can feel is knowing your c...The worst feeling a mom can feel is knowing your child is being held captive from you. Janice is always expressing her appreciation in a positive loving way. Janice does this verbally and even by email. I am living the very nightma...My name is Valerie R. I am living the very nightmare described in this website. The court, Judges, EMCU, police, etc. know ny children are being sexually, physically, and emotionally abused. There are many social workers trying to help them, with the exception of SRS. They and the courts,EMCU are intentionally trying to hide the truth. As this has been happening since my children were 3 and four years old. They are now 7 and eight. The Judge has been approached at least four or five times to remove my children from their abuser/molestors hands. And yes-they are dragging this out to make money-this case has been happing since May of 2005. It all started with a CORRUPT, GREEDY court appointed case manager who refuses to back off this case. According to my attorney, ALL of the court house knows that the case manger has only been in it for the money. Needless to say, I have to have supervised visitation for one hour a week at the Wichita Children's Home because my 8 year old told his therapist and a Reno,co officer that he and his younger brother had been sexually molested and physically abused. The Wichita Children's home has had to file two SRS reports and contacted police twice because of things my children said and did that indicate serious abuse. They did nothing! Then three days later the GAL, my attorney, and the court mediation cooridnator asked the Judge to remove the children fron their abuser's home. He denied it again and wants the children to see a court appointed therapist (a man) directed as, "Family Law Department" Psychologist. My son has already told the TRUTH three times and they keep sending my traumitized son back to his abuser after they tell his abuser that he talked. On Jan. 18th,2009 my 8 yr. old tols me that the reason he had never told anyone was because his dad threated to kill him and his mother (me) if he ever told. Please help me save my children?! Before the WORST eventually happens. The corruptness just keeps getting bigger!

Please respond ASAP- The media has been at the court house asking questions. Do I go public or just allow the corrupt system to continue to abuse my boys and me? Please e-mail me at valjr09@att.net Their lives are at stake! As well as mine. I feel it is important that I express my sincere gratitude to all of the people involved in running the PMA organization. Co-founders Lundy Bancroft and Janice Levinson have done a great service already in founding PMA. Beyond that, if you have or have had the opportunity to read any of Lundy Bancroft's books or to speak personally with Janice Levinson you will realize that not only are they highly knowledgeable about this topic, but that they also have their hearts in the right place. To find two people who are so passionate about fighting the injustices mothers and children face in family court that they are willing to give everything of themselves to right these wrongs is nothing short of a blessing from God himself.

The important thing to note here is that these people are not fanatics simply out looking for a fight for the sake of the fight itself. These are people who have gone through and who have witnessed the heartless cruelty of children, time and time again, being unwillingly ripped from their mother's side, many times only to be placed into violent and abusive situations. They have held the hands of the beaten-down, over-wrought mothers and cried thousands of tears for the helpless, defenseless children who suddenly found themselves torn apart at the seams. These are not people who simply believe in a cause. These are people who have lived the pain behind this injustice.

The organization they have brought together is one of bonding, of a coming together and truly finding the strength in numbers to stand up and fight for what they believe in; to fight what was once thought to be an unwinnable fight. In the lives of many suffering mothers and children today it is still an unwinnable fight. But as for Lundy and Janice and all those who stand behind them they have made the decision to speak up on behalf of mothers and children everywhere and say, "Enough!"

This is an organization founded on love and on true empathy. When you have the opportunity of working with one of the many volunteers Janice and Lundy have hand-picked you will be met someone who has a sincere desire to stand by your side, and you will be offered a hand to hold and a shoulder to cry on.

Never in all my countless experiences in human services have a met a more sincere and dedicated group of people who are truly out to find the good we all look for in life and to bring about the justice we all rely upon in our government. This is not a group of people that hates the country in which we live. This is a group of people which strives to see that this country continues to deliver the truth for which it stands. That is why I decided to become one of the many volunteers behind the vision.

If you have had the misfortune of falling prey to such cruel and heinous treatment then I am truly sorry. If you now have found yourself fortunate enough to come into contact with people who truly care, with the people behind The Protective Mothers Alliance, then I am certain you have been led here for a reason. I want you to know, that for me and for many of the people who make up this organization, a big part of the reason we keep holding firm to our commitment is to see that each of you keeps holding on to your children!

Elizabeth McVeyBette McVeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09860094656485095162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5875073687069304746.post-38234220717341504272009-07-27T23:39:05.956-04:002009-07-27T23:39:05.956-04:00Hi Janice, I wanted to take the time to let everyo...Hi Janice, I wanted to take the time to let everyone including you know just what this organization of PMA has come to mean to me. I will not say that my story is more or less important than my fellow protective mom but I can assure you that it was hell. One day was a day to long away from my beloved boys. When I lost them, I felt I lost everything. I went searching for a support group, an advocate, a friend to help steer me through this hell I was forced to live at the cruel hands of the family courts in PA. I contacted many groups and so-called advocated to help me get through these times and the only one to extend a life preserver was YOU! Janice, you returned my calls and was very patient and gentle with the rawness of my new found life. You provided support, guidance and hope, PMA provided the avenue to YOU. You stayed in personal touch with me even when my boys' disclosure led them to protective custody. You called to find out how things were going and wanted to be kept informed to the very end. You understood and was gracious when I told you I had to step back during that time as a chapter leader. As important PMA is to you, you always put my personal life at the forefront making sure I took care of what I needed to and assured me that you'd still welcome me back when I was ready. You shared in my joy when I got my boys back and welcomed me back to PMA when I gave you the green light.

I realize that us women appreciate the thing PMA stand for and often the written thanks is not often there. Well, here it is...I am truly grateful to PMA and all you do. As PMA's new administrative assistant, I can appreciate your time and commitment even more. You are so committed to making sure all these women get a courteous and warm respond back with little turn around time that you asked me to come aboard as your Admin Assistant. So not only have I came to you as a member turned chapter leader, I now have the privileged to work very closely with one of the truest genuine and compassionate advocates I have met. This is not to discredit anyone else for their effort, you just happen to have touched my life in a direct way and you have help me to turn my anger into advocacy.
We have many women who have come to us looking for help and you are not afraid to be honest and re-direct them to a more suitable advocacy groups when these women come to us with issues that
clearly we are not set up for like divorce issues, criminal advocacy, domestic violence etc. (these are only some examples)

I have also worked tirelessly on the recent newsletter with you and though we were met with some temporary set backs, you took it in stride and persevered. You regrouped and got the help you needed (thanks Maddy and daughter) and we all have a newsletter to enjoy.

I am pleased to work along side such a remarkable lady, mom and advocate and anticipate the change that is coming. Thank you for believing in me.
